The postgraduate course was launched in 2012 and is the first and only academic qualification designed specifically for the needs of the sponsorship industry. The Diploma is now widely regarded as a mandatory qualification for those wishing to boost their career in any area of sponsorship or sports marketing.
IMR has supported the course through making its content available to students, and company founder Simon Rines has both addressed the students and been a regular marker of course papers.
